Five reasons why I am stupidly excited about getting to Earl's Court this weekend
I've done some pretty exciting things lately. I've seen Eddie Izzard, and 'The Book of Mormon' and 'A Chorus Line' but I'm more excited about The London Pet Show this weekend than I was about any of those. Here, in no particular order, are the five attractions I'm most looking forward to...
1) Rabbit Show Jumping
2) Micro Pig Racing
3) Duck herding
4) Miniature Horse Display
5) Guinea Pig Story Time (I have no idea what this involves but I am beginning to see the charms of these gorgeous creatures).
Of course, this is not just a 'show' - it's an opportunity to research any pets you may be interested in. One of my friends is going to check out pedigree cats. I have two house rabbits (they're not show jumpers, yet!) and I want to find out about Runaround, a wire tunnel design that allows you to turn your garden into a veritable overground warren. Not sure why, but my husband would prefer to keep the garden for barbecues - strange bloke. Watch the gorgeous video below and you'll understand why I want to get Runaround...
