Feeling comfortable in your clothes is the most important factor for you when choosing what to wear; anything that constricts, digs in or pinches is not an option. You prefer casual styling to formal business wear, and you hate a cluttered look – simple lines and designs are more you. In keeping with your no-fuss attitude, clothes must be easy-care and ideally non-iron.
Style characteristics
● Your wardrobe may appear disorganised and you will often just wear whatever is to hand and clean that morning.
● Trousers worn with flat shoes are your preferred option for maximum comfort and practicality.
● You have many interests, but reading fashion magazines is not one of them.
● Your jewellery will be minimal – if you wear any at all – and won’t jangle about.
Make the most of your style
● Long skirts – either full, pleated or with a split – will allow freedom of movement; team them with boots or comfortable shoes.
● Go for deconstructed and loose-fitting clothes for a relaxed look.
● For work, comfort is still important, so opt for a simple, good-quality top.
● For evening, try a tunic-type top over a pair of silk trousers with flat pumps.
Your colour palette
Light: stone + cornflower ; medium grey + dusty rose; light navy + light aqua.
Deep: Black + aubergine; dark navy + purple; stone + true red.
Warm: dark brown + terracotta; moss + cream; teal + turquoise.
Cool: rose beige + sapphire; pewter + bright periwinkle; pine + light grey.
Clear: Black + evergreen; purple + lemon yellow; taupe + Chinese blue.
Soft: stone + claret; cocoa + jade; damson + shell.
How to accessorise
● Your accessories will be minimal, but you still need them to complete your look.
● Wear a long scarf or pashmina over your coat or jacket, teamed with a pair of colourful gloves.
● For jewellery, choose natural materials such as wood, leather and shell.
● A rucksack-style handbag or one with a long shoulder strap is best for you.
● Keep your shoes comfortable but well maintained.
Your face
By day: Your make-up is minimal, so all-in-one products like tinted moisturiser are ideal.
By night: You don’t tend to change your make-up dramatically for the evening; simply add a fresh slick of a natural-coloured lipstick or gloss.
Your hair
You don’t like to spend much time on your tresses, so it’s essential to have a good haircut that allows you to leave your hair to dry with little or no styling.
