Good points: Whisks egg whites very quickly. Low level noise. Comfortable handle. Useful storage unit included which holds all the attachments and the mixer. Cord winds into a recess at the base of the motor. Well balanced in use with comfortable handle. Copes well with dough. Good airy sponge and lightly whipped cream. Low level noise. Powerful motor.
Drawbacks: Quite heavy. Controls pull back to go faster which is the opposite to what you expect. Tail of cord doesn't wind up into recess. Splashy when whipping cream.
220W. 1.1kg. 5 speeds. 2 beaters. 2 dough hooks. Single balloon whisk. Spatula included.Black and stainless steel

Good points: Well balanced and not too heavy. Quick to whisk egg whites. Whisks cream cleanly on full power with little splashing. Very clear instructions. Produced a light, airy one stage sponge cake. Balloon whisk works well to make airy whipped cream.
Drawbacks: Detail at the front of the mixer is a dirt trap. Vibrates on full power which makes hand shake. Stainless steel shows marks easily. Motor high pitched when kneading dough.
300W. 1.3kg. 5 speeds. Non slip handle. Wind in power cord. 2 beaters. 2 dough hooks. Single balloon whisk. Choice of five colours

Good points: Excellent soft grip makes handling the machine easy, even with wet hands. One stage sponge rose well with even air bubbles. Clever retractable cord system allows you to wind the cord into the base of the mixer for storage. Quick to whip cream. Balloon whisk worked well on egg whites and is quieter to use than beaters.
Drawbacks: Messy when whipping cream using the balloon attachment. Quite noisy.
300W. 1.0kg. 5 speeds. 2 beaters. 2 dough hooks. White and grey

Good points: Quite lightweight. Comfortable handle, the back curves upwards which holds hand securely. Coped well with bread dough and produced a light, airy one stage sponge
Drawbacks: High pitched noise. The press control to eject the beaters is stiff and did not always work on the model we tested. The handle is quite wide and would be uncomfortable for small hands. The controls, particularly eject are quite far along the handle for easy reach with one hand. A disappointing volume for egg whites compared to the other models tested.
360W. 1.5kg. 4 speeds including turbo. Non slip handle. 2 beaters. 2dough hooks. Grey and brushed aluminium
Comments
Good points: It is stable when rested on its heel. Useful quick start guide.
Drawbacks: This machine is very heavy and the angled handle means your hand slips down it. Controls pull back to go faster which is the opposite to what you expect. The fastest speed is not very fast, eggs not whisked to dry, even after two minutes. Pricey
Good points: Double cream whipped quickly in under one min. Eject button works efficiently. Good cake batter.
Drawbacks: The machine was very jerky when whisking egg whites. The three beaters is a bit of a gimmick, volume is not noticeably increased using three rather than two. Dough hooks are hard to control in dough, leaving it lumpy. Jerky on full power.
