Comfort Prima High Street Fashion Awards 2012
The glamour, the glitz and all the winners ...
Towering heels, shimmering dresses, over-flowing goody bags and a serious injection of glamour was the order of the day as Prima magazine hosted its 18 annual Comfort Prima High Street fashion awards recently. 1,200 guests attended the stylish event, held at the Battersea Evolution Marquee, raising thousands of pounds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, with the stars turning up in droves to support the charity and show off their fashion credentials.
Sweeping down the ‘blue’ carpet and posing for the flashing paparazzi cameras were Michelle Collins, Myleene Klass, Michele Heaton, Louis Spence, Marcus Collins, Imogen Thomas, Matt Cardle, Olympian and breast cancer survivor Donna Fraser and the Towie cast to name a few.
Along with complimentary wine courtesy of Lindermans, delicious cheese by Pilgrims Choice and Thorntons chocolates, guests were able to indulge in hair and beauty pampering sessions by Saks hairdressers, Belle Pierre make up and OPI nails.
After an electrifying performance from X Factor star Aiden Grimshaw, guests were treated to a delicious three-course meal. Next was the poignant tribute by charity patron Michelle Collins to our Prima Women of Courage – five inspirational women who have all battled breast cancer.
The pace then picked up with an energetic catwalk show, before the evening’s hosts, Prima Editor Maire Fahey and designer Jeff Banks, presented the coveted awards – see the results below. Finally, it was time for everyone to hit the dance floor until the early hours – and as guests eventually made their way home with the biggest goodie bags in town, it marked the end of another fabulous night at the Comfort Prima High Street Fashion Awards!
